Thiru Not Worried About Naan Sigappu Manithan-Kochadaiiyaan Clash.

"I'm not going to compete with any film and nor am I nervous to release my film with Kochadaiiyaan. I'm only bothered about handing over the first copy of my film to my producers in advance.

I'm only concerned about finishing the film on time," Thiru told IANS. Thiru claims that he has been working with the deadline in mind and he wants to deliver the product on promised date.

He says that it has kept him on toes. "My last film got delayed due to several reasons. I struggled to see it release in cinemas. It was nice for a change to be working against a deadline.

Working towards a scheduled release date kept me on my toes throughout," he said. Naan Sigappu Manithan, which features Lakshmi Menon in the female lead role, is the story of a man suffering from narcolepsy, a neurological sleeping disorder.

Siddharth Is The Bestest: Samantha

Rumours of Siddharth and Samantha often hit headlines. Their every move is closely monitored by media and keenly observed by their fans. It is for the simple reason - alleged affair. ‘Maan Karate’ movie releases on March 28

The audio launch event of Sivakarthikeyan's Maan Karate will be held on March 1 and the producers of the movie have decided the venue as Sathyam Cinemas.

The producer of the film P Madan of Escape Artist Motion Pictures made an official announcement about it.

Music director Anirudh who is riding a success wave with 3, Ethir Neechal, Vanakkam Chennai and Velai Illa Pattathari has composed music for Maan Karate. Shruti Haasan has sung a song for the film.

Director AR Murugadoss has written the story and screenplay for Maan Karate directed by Thirukumaran. The movie which was originally scheduled to release on Apr 11has now been advanced to March 28.

Shankar, Kamal..what next for Ravi Varman?

Cinematographer Ravi Varman shot to fame in Tamil with the Shankar directed film Anniyan, the blockbuster film of 2005. Initially it was Manikandan who was supposed to handle the camera for the Vikram-Sadha Starrer but could shoot only a part of the film and Ravi Varman joined Shankar's team to shoot the remaining part. 

Later on he worked with Kamalhassan in Gautham Menon directed film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and the Ulaganayagan's magnum opus Dasavatharam which created many records. 

Today, Ravi Varman is one of the leading lensmen in the Bollywood industry. His works for the commercially successful and critically acclaimed films like Barfi and Ram Leela have garnered international recognition.

This time Ravi Varman is going to team up with Mani Ratnam .

As we have reported earlier Mani Ratnam is planning a bilingual film and as of now Telugu star Mahesh Babu has been confirmed to play the lead role in it. The director's preferred heroine and the former Miss World Aishwarya Rai has also been reportedly finalized to play a character with negative shades. Mani is expected to start shooting the film from the month of June. The film will have music composed by Isaipuyal  A.R.Rahman who has confirmed the same in a recent interview.

'AI' eyeing a summer release

Director Shankar and Chiyaan Vikram are working day and night to release their magnum opus Ai as a summer release. It is said that the ace director known for his hard work has started the post production works while the last leg of shooting is underway. The team is planning to wrap-up the shoot within the end of March.

Meanwhile Vikram, on his part has completed dubbing for the first half and will start dubbing for the second once the shoot is completed, as per reliable sources.

It seems Shankar will leave no stone unturned to hit the release deadline.

AI stars Amy Jackson opposite Vikram. The film also includes, senior Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, Santhanam, Upen Matel and many other prominent faces in its star cast. A.R.Rahman composes the music while ace cinematographer P.C.Sriram has teamed up with Shankar for the first time.

Akshay Kumar chooses Arrambam?

After bagging Ajith Kumar's hit flick Veeram to remake in Hindi, his another hit flick Arrambam is also reported to be remade in Hindi. Further reports claim, Akshay would essay the role of Ajith in the remake version. Director Vishnuvardhan is expected to direct the film in Hindi too. Interestingly, Akshay is already seen playing the role of Vijay in Thupakki remake in Hindi, directed by AR Murugadoss again.

Jigarthanda audio launch on March 3!

Pizza director Karthik Subburaj’s upcoming directorial is Jigarthanda which stars Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon. The director has posted on his micro – blogging site that the film’s audio and trailer will be released on March 3, 2014. He also added that he is expecting everyone’s presence.

Jigarthanda is said to be a suspense thriller based in Madurai and has Santhosh Narayanan composing the tunes for the film.

Dhanush-Vetrimaran heroine not finalised

Last week's buzz was that actress Amala Paul has grabbed the offer to star in the film that will see Dhanush and Vetrimaran team up for the third time.

However in an interview to a leading National daily, the Aadukalam director has clarified that the heroine of his third film has not yet been finalised. While admitting that Amala Paul's name was considered during the script discussion, Vetimaran has clarified that he is yet to meet the Myna Girl and narrate the script.

Interestingly, Amala Paul is the heroine of Dhanush's upcoming film Velayilla Pattadhari that is expected to hit the screens in May, 2014.

Vaa Deal's unique 'Formula' for logo launch

Arun Vijay and his team 'Vaa Deal' have struck an interesting first of its kind promotional deal for their film.

Recently they got together to launch the film's logo and how??? They got budding racer Mihir Dharkar to launch the logo in his Formula 3 Race Car - something which has been done for the first time in Tamil cinema. Since the film's theme revolves around racing, Arun Vijay and team launched the logo on Dharkar's car number 9.

Directed by Sivagnanam, 'Vaa Deal' has Arun Vijay essaying the role of a racer, Vettrivel. Sharing more details about his character, the actor said that he had to do complete research for his role to look authentic on screen. He also said that since his character lives in Housing Board in Chennai, he found it challenging to dub in the local slang.

While Karthika Nair plays Arun Vijay's love interest in the film, it also has Satish, Suja Varunee, Jayaprakash, Kalyan and Vamsi in supporting roles. A complete family entertainer, 'Vaa Deal' is bannered under Feather Touch Entertainment. As of now, the film has its post-production work going on in full swing.

Dhanush's 25 audio launch!

The shooting of 'Velai Illa Pattathari' (VIP) starring Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead roles is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is cinematographer Velraj's debut directorial venture and has music scored by Anirudh. Revealing that the audio launch is set to happen on January 3rd, Dhanush has tweeted, "Velaillaa pattadhaari #D25 audio from Feb 14th. An Anirudh musical."

Produced under his banner Wunderbar Films, this movie will be Dhanush's 25th film excluding the cameos he had done in some movies. Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan will feature in important characters.

Amala - Samuthirakani project is a heroine centric script

Even before Samuthirani’s upcoming project Nimirnthu Nil starring Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul got released, the director had signed Amala Paul as the lead lady in the next film. The latest update is that Amala Paul will be essaying stages of the character right from teenager to when she ages.

Famous singer Usha Uthup has sung a song composed by S.S.Thaman in the film Damaal Dumeel that has Viabhav and Ramya Nambeesan playing the lead roles. Yesterday the audio launch of the film took place in Chennai in which the veteran singer performed on stage, the song sung by her in the film.

 Speaking at the event the veteran singer said that she not only likes singing i Tamil nut also feels proud to have sung a Tamil song. She also shared her happiness for having worked with such a young team.

Though born in a Tamil family Usha Uthup is popular for her Hindi songs in Bollywood films and stage performances. She has sung very few songs in Tamil films in her singing career spanning many decades.

After Kunnakkudi Vaidhyanathan in the film Melnaattu Marugmagal and Ilayaraja in the film Anjali it is young music composer S.S.Thaman who has used the vocal skills of this prominent singer in Tamil films.

It is worth remembering that Priyanka Chopra, who is one of the leading heroines in Bollywood and a famous face across India and many other countries made her silver screen debut with the film Tamizhan with actorVijay.

 Now we hear that the former Miss World is likely pair up with Vijay again for the star's upcoming film with director Chimbudevan.

Vijay is currently working in the film directed by A.R.Murugdoss which is progressing at a rapid speed. It is said that Vijay will soon complete his commitment for the untitled flick produced by Lyca Productions and Ayngaran International and kick start the film to be directed by Chimbudevan.

A team headed by Chimbudevan is currently working on finalizing the cast and crew of the film and sources close to the director say that he is likely to bring the Bollywood queen on board to romance Vijay in the film.

Ajith’s Arrambam To Be Remade By Akshay Kumar?

Bollywood’s obsession towards South remakes seems to have continued as yet another hit from Tamil films is getting ready to be remade in Hindi films. Recently, we read about Ajith Kumar’s Veeram being remade in Hindi with the likely cast of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Now, his last-year hit flick Arrambam is ready to go to B-Town.

Yes, if rumours are to be believed, Akshay Kumar has got the remake rights of Ajith Kumar’s Arrambam.

The Bollywood star has been in touch with A Raghuram through his close aides and has finally managed to bag the remake rights of Arrambam. The actor had seen the film when the Tamil film had hit the screens last November.

Akshay Kumar is reportedly happy with the content and he believes that the story would suit his image, say rumour mills. However, the official confirmation is awaited and we have no clue about the cast and crew of the flick.

There are also rumours doing rounds that director Vushnuvardhan himself would helm the project.

It was earlier reported that both Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were in the race to bag the remake rights. But in the end, it is Akki, who has successfully got the rights.

Vijay and Murugadoss to fly to Hyderabad

After Jilla, Vijay is donning the lead role in a film directed by A R Murugadoss.

Anirudh is composing the music while George C Williams is handling the camera. The first schedule shooting of this film took place in Kolkata and the second schedule shooting took place in Chennai.
At this juncture, the third schedule shooting of the film will be taking place in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The set replicating Rajahmundry prison has been erected at Ramoji Film City.

The sequence where the villain Tota Roy Chowdary will be escaping the prison and Vijay’s action sequences are to be shot here. The shooting of the film will be taking place for 30 days.

Initially it was decided to shoot the sequences in the real prison located in Rajahmundry. Because of the Telangana crisis it has been decided to change the location.

A R Murugadoss who saw the portions of Vijay and Samantha dance sequences shot in Chennai was very highly impressed.

For the first time Samantha was sharing the screen with Vijay in this film. Satish of Ethir Neechal fame is taking care of the comedy tracks.

K S Ravikumar and Rajnikanth to join hands in Raana

Raana is a film which was supposed to have Rajnikanth in the lad role. This film which was to be directed by K S Ravikumar had Deepika Padukone in the female lead role

The shooting of this film was shelved because Rajni fell ill very seriously. After his treatment, Rajnikanth did not want to take the risk.
Instead of acting in Raana, Rajni acted in an animation film titled Kochadaiyaan directed by his daughter Soundarya.

The shooting of this film took place for more than two years and is now ready for release.

At this juncture, there is assorted news in Kollywood about Rajnikanth’s next film. There is news that Shankar, K S Ravikumar or K V Anand may direct his next film.

Now it has been confirmed that director K S Ravikumar will direct a film which will have Rajnikanth in the lead role. K S Ravikumar has earlier directed Rajnikanth’s super hit films such as Padayappa and Muthu.

It is understood that Rajnikanth and K S Ravikumar have decided to revive the film Raana which was shelved earlier due to health reasons. Deepika Padukone was originally signed for the female lead role in Raana.

Since Deepika Padukone had already paired with Rajni, now a now heroine is being considered. The fans can expect the official announcement regarding this film very soon.

Aaha Kalyanam - Movie Review

Aaha Kalyanam is a romantic comedy movie with a high entertainment quotient. Nani and Vani Kapoor's performances are the main attractions in the film. Gokul Krishna's direction, Habib Faizal's engrossing screenplay, Rajiv Rajaram's witty dialogues, Dharan Kumar's music, Loganathan Srinivasan's cinematography, colourful costumes and art direction and beautiful locales are its other attractions.

Overdose of songs in the first half and few dull scenes in the second half are its drawbacks. The movie is a remake of Bollywood hit film Band Baaja Baaraat, which is about a slacker-collegian, who partners with career-minded girl and achieve success in wedding planner business, but their differences turn them into bitter rivals.

The director has taken the soul of the original and dealt it as per the taste of South Indian audience. But his work would impress Tamil audience more than Telugu as it is mere dubbed version and lacks local sentiments. Shruti (Vaani Kapoor) is 20-something no-nonsense girl from middle class.

Focused and determined with pre-planned ambitions, her goal in life is well laid out by the time she reaches her final year of college. On the other hand, Shakti (Nani) has no real aim in life. As a final year college student, he spends his life having fun with his friends. 

A chance and opportune meeting or fate brings the two of them together on a tumultuous journey where they become partners in their very own wedding planning business. However, the rules are clear: Finance and romance can never go hand in hand. 

Together, they see the ups and down of the lavish Chennai weddings. And while trying to find themselves, Shruti and Shakti discover each other and realise that rule book cannot be followed always. As a wayward boy, Nani has given wonderful performances in Aaha Kalyanam and he impresses the viewers with his comedy timing and witty dialogue delivery. Actress Vaani Kapoor, who is entering South Indian film industry with Aaha Kalyanam, has lot of scope for performance and she has done a good job. 

In her first attempt, she has made sure that she impresses South Indian audience with her glamour and acting. Others have also done justice to their roles. Aaha Kalyanam has sound production values and Dharan Kumar's music and background score are the main attractions in the technical front. Loganathan Srinivasan has done wonderful picturisation in song sequences. Bavan Sreekumar's editing is good. 

Costumes, art direction and other art technical departments have also delivered commendable job. Overall, Aaha Kalyanam is good comedy entertainer, which members of family can watch together. Since it has Tamil scent in every aspects, it may not impress the Telugu viewers.

Notable star Sasikumar is all in a different genre this time, targeting city based look and feel. The movie is all about two childhood friends who are separated in chase of dream and later getting in touch in the journey
called life.

Bramman starts with Sasikumar and his Modern Theatre which he runs in the Coimbatore city along with
Santhanam. Santhanam really provides relief for the audience with his usual comic sense. Sasikumar
creates scenes to come up his positive attitude towards life and friendship.

The actor/director has no space in proving his acting talents and heroine Lavanya Thirupathi is fresh and young looking catches the attraction from the audience for sure. Sasi kumar is criticised and left humiliated for unable to earn anything from the theater and decides to find his friend who is a famous cinema director in Telugu industry to seek help in renovating his theater. With this the first half of the movie leaves the Coimbatore city and travels to Chennai in search of Sasikumar’s childhood friend, Naveen Chandra.

The second half starts in Chennai with Sasikumar not able to meet his friend and Soori trying to become an
assistant director enters the frame replacing Santhanam to help Sasi Kumar to find his friend. Sasikumar
accidently happens to meet Jayaprakash a famous producer and narrates his real life incidents.

Jayaprakash offers him a chance to direct the movie mistaking him as an assistant director of Naveen Chandra. Then the movie is dragged to test patience and climax is ended in a fairway.

Sasikumar exhibits emotions, romance, comedy and friendship in a different manner with not violence is a
big relief for the family crowd. An easy guess can be made scene by scene, Music and BGM looks pale and

‘Viswaroopam 2′ release date

WATCH VISWAROOPAM TRAILER

Kamalhassan’s magnum opus Viswaroopam 2 was expected to hit the screens in January but the magnitude of the film is so high that the shooting itself has not yet been completed.

There were talks doing rounds that the Padma Bhushan actor will bring his sequel to the 2013 blockbuster film as a Tamil New Year treat but the announcement on the release of Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kochadiiyaan has proved that V-2 will be pushed further since the distributors may not be preferring a clash of the two veteran actors cum leading stars of Tamil film industry.

Now sources say that Viswaroopam 2 will release either on May 2 or May 9 after a decent gap from the release of Kochadiiyaan.

Kamlahassan who is also the director of Viswaroopam 2 has assured that the film will be racier and the script provides more scope for romance and action, than its prequel.

Pooja Kumar , Andrea Shekar Kapur and Rahul Bosewho acted in Viswaroopam are retained in the sequel. Music has been scored by Ghibran and Shamdat Sainudeen is the cinematographer. The film is being produced by Ascar V.Ravichandran.

Sasikumar clarifies on Vijay film

A few months ago it was reported in various sections of Media that actor-director- producer Sasikumar will be pairing working with actor Vijay in a film to be commenced in 2015. In an exclusive interview, Indiaglitz  spoke about this to the Subramaniapuram director.

Sasikumar has clarified that though it is true that he has had talks with Vijay, nothing has been finalized as of now. Being a busy hero himself, the Kuttipuli actor  told that Vijay has a few projects lined up and he also has other plans for the near furute. This indicates that Vijay and Sasi can work together only after both of them are free from their present commitments.

Sasikumar has also expressed his willingness to direct Ajith.Meanwhile, today Bramman, the film directed by Socrates, Ulaganayagan Kamalhassan's fomer Assistant, which has Sasikumar playing the lead role has released worldwide.

Producer's Request to Ajith and Vijay

In a recent audio launch function, Tamil film Producer K.Rajan has made a request to Ajith and Vijay. Expressing regret for TASMAC scenes being included in almost every Tamil film,  Rajan has requested Ajith and Vijay,  the two stars who command tremendous mass following to ensure that their films do not include anything associated to liquor drinking habit.

 He has substantiated his request stating that many youngsters are following  the hairstyle and costumes of the two stars. Given this,  they may follow their icons in liquor consumption as well
Vijay has decided not to include smoking scenes in his films but his penultimate release Thalaiva featured him dancing for a song after boozing with friends. Ajith's latest release Veeram included a few scenes in which the star is shown in an inebriated state.

Eeram Dirctor’s Second to release soon

Arivazhagan, an erstwhile assistant of ace director Shankar, debuted with the film Eeram that released in 2009. The horror thriller film produced by his Mentor under his S films banner received critical acclaim but failed to fare well at the box office.

However Arivazhagan was identified as a filmmaker with finesse and got his second opportunity since famed producer Aascar Ravichandran known for lavish spending was willing to produce his next film titled Vallinam. The film has been long in the making and the release date has been postponed many times owing to various reasong.

At last, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel and Vallinam is releasing on February 28. The film touted as sport drama has Nakul and Mriidhula Bhasker playing the lead roles., while Atul Kulkarni,.Jagan and Anupama Kumar amongst others form the supporting cast.

With the thriller film Thegidi releasing on the same date audience can expect for a double treat on the last day of February, 2014.

Aishwarya’s take on Rural belly roles and bikini outfits

Actress Aishwarya Rajesh is gradually climbing up the ladder with her performance being appreciated in every film she acts. Though she debuted with the film Avargalum Ivargalum, she got prominent notice in the film Attakathi.

Later on she paired up with Vijay Sethupathi’s in back to back films Rummy and Panniyarum Padminiyum and her performance in both the films have received rave reviews.

However there is a feel that the young actress is being typecast as a rural belly. Reacting to this, the actress says that her acting in rural based subjects was not intentional but she is happy that she suits the ‘Rural girl’ characters.

She also states that in her upcoming films Thirudan Police audience can see her as a Modern Girl and in Kakka Muttai she has acted as a girl from slum.

Asked whether she will accept to wear bikini wears in films, the actress said that the outfit will not suit her looks and she will never go for it. Aishwarya adds that she herself will not like to see her in bikini.

Bhavana’s relationship status

For the past few weeks there have been reports suggesting that actress Bhavana is in love witha Kannada film producer Naveen. There were also rumors spreading that the couple are planning to wed soon either in Bangalore or Kochi.

 In her recent interview to a National daily, the Asal actress has cleared the air on her relationship status. Bhavana, has said that she is indeed in love with someone but not ready for marriage now. She also refused to divulge the name of the guy with whom she is dating. She has also clarified that her current focus is on films she has signed and may enter wedlock either at the end of this year or early next year.

Meanwhile, Film Producer Naveen, with whom Bhavana has worked in the 2012 Kannada film Romeo has clarified that he is certainly not dating Bhavana. He has further stated that the actress is a good friend and they got along well during the shoot of Romeo. But the producer said that he is not in constant touch with Bhavana, since the she is not acing in many films in Kannada.

Have I spilt with Simbhu: Hansika?

Nayanthara is pairing with Simbhu in a film titled Idhu Namma Aalu. It is learnt that Hansika is not favor of this. Hence there is talk in Kodambakkam that both of them have parted ways.

 At this point of time, Simbhu has mentioned that Nayanthara is my friend while Hansika is his lover. He had also added that Hansika is not against him for acting with Nayanthara. Hansika has also tweeted that she is single and has no relationship with anyone. In view of the foregoing, there are talks that both of them have split.

When asked Hansika about this, she said, ” I don’t want to speak about this. I will definitely speak when the time comes. My fans are speaking about my marriage. I did not decide to become an actress at the age of 15 years but that happened.

Similarly my marriage will also take place at the right time. I will get married when my mother and I decide about the marriage. Currently I am having 10 films in my hands. I consider myself as a competitor to me.”

Date fixed for Chimbudevan and Arulnithi

Chimbu Devan directed Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum is releasing  on 28th of  March confirmed tweeted by Arulnithi the film's lead hero as well as JSK Films Sathish who will be distributing the film.  OKMK has  Arulnithi and Arshitha playing the lead roles while Bindhu Madhavi and Bagavathy play supporting roles. The film has been produced by M.KTamilarasu the father of Arulnithi. The film's music has been scored by Natarajan Sankaran of Moodar Koodam fame. S.R.Kathir handles the camera while Sreekar Prasad is the Editor. The film touted as a clean family entertainer has been extensively shot in Chennai. A few weeks back, the film acquired a clean U certificate from the Censors.

Ramya Nambeesan gets a fan in this filmmaker

 Ramya Nambeesan may not be a top heroine in k-town but with a few impressive performances   in films like Kullanari Koottam and Pizza the Kerala born actress has grabbed the attention of fans as well as critics of Tamil films.

 Currently Ramya is acing in a film opposite Vaibhav in the film titled Damaal Dumeel directed by debutante director Sree, who is a former assistant of Shankar. 

Music for the film has been scored by S.S.Thaman and Ramya has crooned a number in this film. Though she has sung a song in Pandiyanadu it was for actress Lakshmi Menon and it is for the first time Ramya lends her voice to herself in a Tamil song.

The audio launch of the film happened in Chennai today. While speaking at the event, director Venkatprabhu who was one of the chief guests stated that he and his brother Premji became the fans of Ramya after watching Kullanari Koottam. He also admitted that he and his brother whistled when Ramya appeared in the film's trailer screened at the event.

Ramya should be on cloud nine to have impressed the director of many super hit films.

Adorable K-Town Chocolate Boy

Actor, producer, singer - This man dons the hat of all the possibility any man could think of. One thing we have to accept that whatever he does, he does it with class. 

Considered as the second most favourite chocolate boy after our very own Maddy, this boy from Chennai managed to capture the hearts of many.

Siddharth or more popularly as he is known - 'Sid' made a prominent entry into films in Kannathil Mutthamittal where he also assisted Director Mani Ratnam. Ofcourse Shankar's 'Boys' was the movie that landed in his acting path leading him to offers in other film industries too.

 Yet again Mani Rtnam's Azhutha Ezhuthu gave Siddharth a wonderful break considering he shared screen space with the best actors and actresses in the industry. Siddharth is one another actor that we could be proud of for having reached the levels of Bollywood in 2006 with the movie 'Rang De Basanti'.

 He was welcomed back to Bollywood with 'Striker' which released in 2010. Although his stint in the Telugu industry is still continuing with even 'Something Something' released last year, Siddharth has a good record of recent releases too, thanks to Nootri enbadhu where he showcased mature acting, which ofcourse was also released in Telugu. His recent releases also includes the movie Udhayam NH4 which although did not appeal to the mass.

Siddharth was widely appreciated for his contribution in the TeachAIDS project along with big names like Mira Nair. This eventually also brought out the humane/ socially responsible side of his.

Last year, the most awaited 'Theeya velai seiyanum kumaru' was a hit for Siddharth where he was paired opposite 'Chinna Kushboo' Hansika. Ofcourse not only the dialogue as same as the movie became famous but one the song 'dan dan dan daddan dan dan' which turned out to be the audiences' favourite. We must say - only Siddharth can pull off those outfits that we also witness in the song!

Ramya faces the ire of Hindu outfit

Actress Ramya who has acted in a few hit Tamil films like Kuthu, Polladhavan and Vaaranam Aayiram is currently a member of Congress Party and also an elected Member of Parliament from  Mandya constituency. 

Recently the actress turned politician has tweeted condemning the Tamilnadu Government's decision to release the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi Murder convicts.

Ramya's allegiance to her party high command has earned the ire of a Hindu organization called Hindu Munnani. They have condemned the actress for speaking against Tamilnadu Government's decision stating that releasing Life term convicts on the basis of compassion is an accepted procedure. 

Stating her comments as 'Anti Tamil; the group has claimed that many Tamil film actresses who come from other states have in the past indulged in such activities against Tamils.

The Hindu outfit has called for a ban on Ramya to act in Tamil films.

It is to be noted here that, Ramya who was a leading heroine in Kannada film industry before entering politics has recently announced that she will not act in films anymore.
